What We Do

The Center for Short Term Missions offers many different skills and services to help you plan and lead a successful short-term trip.

Assessment: Helping participants determine which mission endeavors would be most helpful in taking them to the next level in their walk with the Lord and, in particular, their desire and ability to really love their neighbor.

Set-Up: Designing trips that are perfectly suited for participating groups and coordinating all of the necessary details to make their trip a reality (selecting ministry sites, arranging housing and meals, securing permits, etc.).

Training: Providing seminars, individual consultations, and training manuals so that participants will be equipped to carry out biblically-based, effective, intentional ministry, both during and after the trip.

Trip Leadership: Supplying general spiritual direction and taking care of all of the major logistical details during the trip.

Vision Casting: Using the trip (regardless of location) as a springboard to make participants aware of the various needs and opportunities around the world, helping them to begin dreaming about long-term contributions that the Lord might be leading them to make (i.e. giving, going, praying, etc.).

Team Follow-Up: Making sure that participants leave their trip with direction and the needed resources to continue practicing the spiritual life skills that were set into motion during the course of their mission experience.

Consulting: Advising, contributing and coming alongside of churches, groups, or mission agencies who, due to limited resources and/or experience are struggling to fulfill any or all of the above categories.
