Thank You Yardley!

Posted by CMS Admin

If you have been blessed this week and would like to be a part of helping make these kinds of trips available to more people, you might want to consider becoming a prayer or financial partner of The Center for Short Term Missions . . . or take advantage of one of our fundraisers.

For more information, email us at bob@shorttermtrips.org. It has been such a joy to serve the Lord together this week.

Thanks again for choosing to use your time to be a light for Him in Washington DC.

In His Love, Bob and Lauren Wright

Yardley UMC Trip Blog Days 1-3

Posted by CMS Admin

Hey Everyone,
Sorry for the slow start with the blog. We've been a little busy getting ministry rolling. It should work out well for daily updates from this point on.

And please remember to send us your comments. As best we can we will be passing them on to the team. Your encouragement will go a long way.

Quiet time has gone really well. The team is working through a study called Know Fear. Our desire is that we will all develop a deeper Biblical understanding of our fear of people and a respect of our God.

Monday was a wonderful day. The team jumped into work projects with two different ministries here in DC. One team has been busy putting down new carpet in the church offices while the other team kept busy with landscaping work, scraping doors for new paint and preparing for some major plumbing and drywall work.

Please pray for your team as they work through some hot days. Please pray that they would remember that everything they do is for eternity. And please pray that God will continue to reveal Himself to them.
